Eco Certified is an independent, nonprofit organization which strives to improve the environment.
The purpose of Eco Certified is to advance health, science, and education with regard to environmental issues within the corporate community.
Eco Certified reviews businesses and organizations, and informs the public about the degree to which a company is committed to carbon neutrality, carbon free practices, and environmental compliance.
Eco Certified highlights and acknowledges companies that have meaningfully executed and publicly committed to Corporate Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality.
Through the Eco Certified program, the public is empowered to pressure and encourage companies to adopt ecofriendly practices and recycle, reuse, and reduce pollution.
Companies are encouraged to reduce pollution, including, but not limited to, the following pollutants:
